To the Hunter's Waterfall

You will probably experience the most beautiful views of Liptov and Liptovská Mara if you try the cycling route to the Poľovnícké vodopád. From Troch Vôd we will go along field roads to Demänová, from there mostly along side roads to Liptovský Mikuláš. We continue along the cycle path to Liptovská Ondrašová. From there, we will take a less frequented asphalt road to Trstené, where mountain cycling begins with beautiful views of Liptovská Mara and Liptovský Mikuláš, as well as the Western Tatras.
By descending to Jalovčianka (see the bridge in the photo), we will reach Bobrovecká vápenica, from where it is only a short distance to the destination of our journey - Poľovníkov waterfall.
More experienced cyclists can continue further to Trnovské háje, below Slatvina to Liptovské Behárovice, Pavlova Ves, Bobrovec and Liptovská Ondrašová. From there we continue along the cycle path and mostly along side roads to Tri Vody via Demänová, Bodice and Pavčina Lehota along a panel road along a stream in the shade of alders. All those who manage it will be treated to refreshments in our bistro U medveďov!
We recommend the route with 50km and 1000m of elevation gain for experienced cyclists or, even better, e-bikers. If you would like to shorten the route, you can return from the waterfall to Boborvecká Vápenica and from there via Bobrovec, the shortest route to Tri Vody.
If you have small children, or if you don't feel physically fit enough, you can also get to the Hunter's Waterfall! Drive to the parking lot at Boborovecká limestone quarry, and from there you can easily walk along the asphalt path (even with a stroller, bicycle, etc.) to the place.
